Adobe Reader in startup menu- Windows 10

How do I keep Adobe Reader from starting up automatically when I boot Windows 10?

    Hi and thanks,

    Actually what I want is just the opposite. Since I installed Adobe Reader it has automatically loaded every time I boot. It is a nuisance and I want to stop the automatic loading. Thanks to various answers I received I found the startup folder and removed Adobe from it. That solved my problem, thank you. While I was at it I put a Shortcut of the Startup folder on my desktop which makes a lot more convenient to find it when I want to. MS had certainly made it difficult to find with such a long address. I'm not surprised I couldn't find it on my own, and I appreciate the help from those who told me where to find it. I now consider the problem closed. Thanks again to all who provided answers.

    Hi Bobs74354655,

    As mentioned above, I assume you are referring to how you can keep the Adobe Reader up automatically when rebooting the computer?

    You can keep the Adobe Reader in windows "Startup" menu to keep it up automatically.

    Simply place a shortcut of application  in the following location-

    C:\Users\<YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

    You can refer to the related blog where you can see the steps "How to add application in startup"

      Thank you so much for the update on this. And good to hear that worked for you.

      This is correct, even if you want to remove any application form the startup just need to follow the steps, locate the startup menu and remove the application from the list. So that it would not launch whenever you reboot the system.
