Adobe reader- Installation problem

Hello,

I had Adobe Reader installed on my computer but did not work properly so I uninstalled it a few days ago.

I downloaded the installation file of Adobe reader from your site (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions )

After the file has been downloaded to the computer, i double clicked on it and the following window was open and started to download, but when it reached 60% (give or take) it stopped and this is the message I got "Newer version already installed", but as I said I already uninstalled the acrobat reader that I had, and reboot my pc (twice).

Please help me reinstall adobe reader

    We're sorry for the trouble you had, please refer and try the suggestion from the following Adobe discussion Newer version already installed

    You may also refer to Error 1722 while installing/updating Acrobat DC/Acrobat Reader DC on Windows

    Thank you very much, installing the windows update did fix the problem!
