Adobe Reader not displaying PDF

Suddenly Adobe Reader has stopped displaying PDFs.  I click a PDF file to view in a folder - nothing.  I double click a PDF to open - nothing.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled - no luck.  Any suggestions?

I just tried to uninstall again, but that failed and I got this error message

 

error 2329:error deleting file C:\Config.Msi\83256d.rbf GetLastError: 32
