Adobe Reader update...

Our company is not Internet.
But when I open the document in Adobe Reader, I try to update it.
I wonder why?

Could you please explain your query a little bit?

Assuming you are referring to the update check which happens when you launch Reader,  It is Adobe Reader update service which checks and install the latest update for the application installed on your computer.

If I run the document even though I do not have an internet connection, will I still be asked to run the update?

Update service will check if there an update available but due to the absence of the working Internet connection, it will not connect to Adobe servers and hence will not download any data.

Would it be possible if you can share the screenshot of the screen where you are getting the option?

Would you like to change Adobe Reader updater service? If yes, you can follow the steps given in the following link:

Automatic Updates - Adobe Acrobat and Reader

To update Reader to the latest version, launch Reader > click Help menu > click "Check for Updates". Below is the link which share more info on this:Install Acrobat and Reader updates
