Adobe Reader v10.1.16 Installer Needed

I have an older personal computer running Windows 8.1 64-bit. The new Adobe Reader has always been slow despite 64-MB Memory and a 4 GHz Intel Core processor. Due to the nature of the software I'm dependent on (lots of legacy stuff), I am unable to upgrade to newer operating systems and hardware, hence I need the older Reader v10.1.16. Also, the PC that requires this Reader is offline, so needs an offline installer.

I've tried the following links, but they don't help:

1) "Adobe 10.1.16 Planned update, October 13, 2015" (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotes/10/10.1.16.html) [Files don't download from the links]

2) (ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/) [Link does not open]

Could Adobe (or the user community) help me find this installer? Thanks.

The FTP link does open, but not in a browser. You must use an FTP client to access it, such as FileZilla.

There you would be able to find the installer you're looking for.

Hello Omar!

I hope you're doing well. As our community product expert correctly mentioned, you’ll need an FTP client to access the Adobe FTP link.

Additionally, we recommend using the latest version of Acrobat to benefit from the newest features and security updates. For technical specifications, please refer to this article: Acrobat System Requirements.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

How can I get access to the FTP server? Currently, I am not able to, even when using a FTP client. Direct links to packages still work, however I need a sitemap/"Index of" to figure out the exact links for my products that I want to update.

Update: I was able to update Acrobat 9 Pro to 9.5.5, since I luckily found a site (http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/the-path-of-least-resistance-adobe-acrobat-9-5-1) that has listed all update package links, that all still work. The last three packages are missing from the list, but figuring out the correct URLs is quite easy. Now however, the links for all the other CS5 programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc) are still unknown to me, unfortunately, therefore I would appreciate your help.

I tried using FileZilla and WinSCP to access ftp.adobe.com, however it always aborts with the error

OOPS: failed to open xferlog log file:/apps/log/ftp/ftp.adobe.com/xferlog

. Has there been a recent change, or does this error only occur on my end?

I need access to the server to download (after migrating to a new computer from scratch) the update packages for CS5 Design Premium and Acrobat 9, which are not available via the built-in updaters anymore, nor the "bought products" page inside the account.

Adobe's FTP site has been down for a while, possibly for good.
