Adobe Reader will not open

I keep getting a message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" when I try and open Adobe Reader or any PDF document.

I have removed the programme & re-installed it several times, but this hasn't resolved this issue.

However, it does work if I open Adobe as an administrator.

I'm using Windows 10

Is there a fix for this please?
