Question

Adobe Reader will not print correctly

I have a Macbook Pro 2017 (IOS 10.12.6) and I have the latest version of Adobe reader downloaded. I open a document and go to print it. Set the page size to A3, check the printer is set the same - press print and it prints on A4. It also does not recognise if I change orientation. If I set the print size to A4, it still prints only part of the document.I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the printer and the software and still does not work. If I open the file in Illustrator, it prints correctly. The printer is currently a RICOH MP C5503 but does the same on other printers too.

I have tried changing printer settings, even to default to an A3, nothings works. Any suggestions?

Hi Kimbo,

As you are experiencing issue in printing PDF in Adobe Reader, please try the troubleshooting steps mentioned here Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader

Check if the printer driver is updated.

Try once to repair the installation.

Launch the application and go to Help  > Repair Installation.

Check if that makes any difference.

Also, make sure that you are using the latest version available for Adobe reader

In application, go to Help > Check for updates.

You may also refer this link Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader to get information on updates.

Let us know if you still experience the issue.

Regards,
