We have a .Net application that loads .pdf files into a .Net web browser control to view them.  With Adobe Reader 9 and below, there is no issue whatsoever.  Adobe Reader X just shows a blank screen.  Any ideas on how to correct this?

With Apple Macintosh computers the problem is partly their Safari browser. (1) get an old version of AcrobatReader from adobe, go as far back as for Mac OS 10.5 and you'll get Reader v10.1.4  (2) install (3) However that stil didnt open it ! so curse both Adobe and Safari (4 next get and install Mozilla's Firefox. (5) Launch, then copy the pdf's URL into Firefox (5) "save as pdf" from there and on desktop you'll find a pdf with a different file icon. (6) Drag that icon onto Reader in Dock and it'll open in a second, no problem. Shout with glee (7) Next "save as pdf" and you'll get a modern-adobe-complaint pdf that'll open in Acrobat X 10.1.12 (8) Rejoice greatly, shout, behold, the righteous shall speak unto the heathen Safari

Just create an adobe account and it's easy to save and covert files to save them and print. just click on the link: Sign up - Adobe ID I wasn't able to print or save pdf files and it would show blank pages on the preview screen. I created the account and was able to save them and print. after you save the file, double click on the pdf document, this message will appear: Adobe Reader could not open 'report.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). click ok on that message and go to file-->>>Open from acrobat.com and the file will open.
