Every time I open a PDF attachment, it opens full size across my monitor. It used to open in the minimized size box (automatic magnification @ 66.7%). Was this an update? Can i change this ?? Old habits die hard and this is killing me!
Hi all,
Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. Yes, since the update today (Aug 8, 2017), Reader DC opens with a maximized window no matter what size it was when it was last closed. This is certainly due to the update, and not anything in the computer. I'm an IT consultant, and I'm seeing this on all computers (Windows 7 and Windows 10).
THIS IS RUDE BEHAVIOR FOR A PROGRAM!!!!
Adobe, please fix this problem ASAP.

BTW, this happened before in Oct 2015:
How to Stop Reader DC from Opening in Maximized View Every Time, for Every PDF File?

Hello Ashu,
Thank you for the update on this issue. Is there a way to roll back to the latest version prior to this update until a fix is published? I work with many windows open and almost all of the documents I work through in a day are PDF's. This is more than an annoyance for my workflow.
Using Acrobat DC via CC)
Thanks

That looks helpful, but I'm not computer savvy. It's all a foreign language to me! But thank you

If you're referring to workarounds at the link that I posted, don't worry about trying to resolve it yourself. This happened before, and Adobe did fix it, so I suspect they will correct it in the next release.

I was referring to that. And I know better—I’m impatiently waiting for Adobe to correct this update! Thanks again
Thank you

Hello all,
As Ashu stated above, Adobe is working to fix this problem. None of the linked workarounds worked for me, but I can say that it helped me a lot to simply minimize Acrobat rather than closing it when I wasn't using it. That way, when I did open a new PDF, it would pop back up in its resized state instead of maximized.
