I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 19.012.20035.4663 installed on my Win 7 and Win X machines in my organization.
Due to some mid installation issues, I have to uninstall the product completely from the systems.
I came to know about the product - "Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool" version - 4.0.0.147029.
When I'm using this product, it uninstalls the Reader DC(Using switch - ProductId as 1 = Reader). But the tool has stopped responding and there is no option to close it rather than to forcefully closing.
Later when I tried looking into the logs, they are also not opening saying its already in use.
To access the logs, I have to close the tool in between. There is not an error code inside the log.
I need to deploy Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool using SCCM on my machines.
Could you please help me solving this "not responding" issue of the tool Acrobat Reader

Hi Ankushc,
Apologies for the trouble caused, as described above the Acrobat Cleaner tool is not responding, correct?
Please try to uninstall the Adobe Reader form the Control Panel > Programs and Features, Restart the system.
You may also try to download a fresh copy for the Adobe Acrobat Cleaner tool here- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
Once the cleaning is done you may try to install the application again.

Hello Amal,
Thanks for your response.
As per my organization's need, I have to use the Cleaner tool first to make sure everything is removed from my system.
Also, I tried downloading the latest version you asked me to download but its the same which I am using.
Could you please help me in finding the root cause of non-responsiveness of the tool.
Also the two links which you have provided are not helpful.
