I am very upset to learn I have to pay a cancellation fee for more than I would have to pay for using months of the service. I tried to cancel the subscription within the 14 day trial window and was prompted to remain in the subscription for a discount, the product doesn't work well. For the discounted rate I thought I'd remain in the subscription and hope the issues would be sorted accordingly (new AI program so I thought it may be just sorting final bugs out) The product still doesn't work well so I decided to cancel it again. If it worked I would keep the program and happily pay the monthly fee but it doesn't and I do not want to pay to cancel a subscription for a product that does not work.

Feels like a scam when I go to promptly cancel when I see the program doesn't work sufficiently and get prompted to stay at such a high discount.

Did you get this resolved? I am having issues with the AI assistant as well. It stopped working! and I do not have any idea on how to fix it.

Hello @roxana_6749, and Laura38133278odc3!
I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.
Could you please provide more details about the issue? Are you receiving any error messages when trying to access the AI assistant feature? Are you using the Acrobat desktop app or the free Reader app? Additionally, are you on a Mac or Windows machine, and what version are you using?
Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20521 Planned update, Jun 02, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app, and the machine, and try again. Also, see this article to learn more about the AI Assistant in Acrobat: https://adobe.ly/4kToJmo
We're here to help, just need more info.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
