I recently bought a used 2016 automobile and received a disk that contains the owner's manual.
When I try to load it, the program claims that I need to update my Adobe reader to a newer version to play the disk.
When I try that the program contacts Adobe and attempts a download. My computer responds with the information that I already have a new better version installed and it stops the download. The disk then says download failed so you don't have access.
Just trying to use the newest version to read anything on the disk does not seem to produce results.
Can anyone suggest a work around? Do I need to contact Dodge?
Thanks

Open the PDF files on the disc with Acrobat Reader.

This does not help. In trying to open disk with Adobe reader DC no files show up as pdf format.
I could not find a place to say this is not correct on the blog page-- only accept shows as a choice.

Acrobat Reader can only open PDF files. What is on the disc?
Where do you see a blog page?

the disk directory and the read-me file say I also need to have Adobe AIR which seems to be a different program that Adobe Reader. and it has an installer for that and an installer for AdobeXReader. neither of them work with the Adobe site. I got on Adobe and downloaded a version of Adobe AIR and tried to open the disk again. still no results.

What is the file-type of the manual?
