Big X over signature line

I opened up a PDF that I saved about a year ago. All the signature lines now have large rectangles with an X in them blocking the line. how do I remove these?

Could you please let me know in which application you are opening this pdf?

Have you tried opening other pdf with signatures on it?

Try to open a sample pdf, place signatures on it, save it on your computer, open it again, and see if this behavior continues.

Assuming you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, what is the version of Reader?

To check the version, launch Reader>under Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader
