Block Cursor

New Here ,
Feb 27, 2017 Feb 27, 2017

Recently Adobe Acrobat DC started using a square block as a cursor.  When you move over the document, it will change to the hand or select depending on which is selected, however, you can not use any of the menu options on the tool bar.  I removed the application, then did a reinstall from the web, without anything changing.  How do I fix this?

Hi charlesh21021168,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Please try the steps provided in this thread with the similar issue: On Adobe Reader I have a black square instead of the mouse pointer.

Let us know if it helps in resolving the issue.

Regards,

Hi charlesh21021168,

Are you experiencing this issue with Adobe Acrobat DC application only?

What is the dot version of application OS installed on your system?

Try once to run the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  and restart your system.

Then re-install application from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Meenakshi

I only have this problem with the Acrobat DC application. (version 2015.023.20070).  I don't have a problem with any other application or Acrobat XI
