Hello community,

we want to disable Acrobat JavaScript for the view in IE11. We have set the bEnableJS Key in the registry and for directly opened PDFs in IE it works, for example drag into the IE or open a link that points directly to a pdf. The yellow information bar (from Adobe Reader) at the top shows that a script was blocked.

But if a pdf is a return from a script, in our case of the SAP server, it is also opened with the IE Adobe Reader addin, but the setting has no meaning any longer - the JavaScript is executed without any query, the yellow bar doesn`t show. But by reloading the page the JavaScript will not be executed again and the bar doesn`t show either.

The properties show that in the script return case there is no file ending (nevertheless it is recognized as pdf).

Can anyone tell us why there are 2 different configurations? The one that is set in the Reader (enable JavaScript) that effects the direct open in the browser and the other one that effects the opening from a script return that has no *.pdf ending but is recognized as pdf? Respectively where we can set the behaviour?

Thanks.
