Can I stop txt files line wrapping?

Acrobat reader is a great txt reader, but it line wraps the text. Can I prevent this from happening and scroll to the right instead? I ask this because my text layout is a table and line wrapping messes up the table layout.

No, because Reader doesn't wrap text. It just shows the file the way it was created.

This is something that needs to be set when the file is first converted, which is not done by Reader.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused by your answer. Plain txt files don't contain any width information, so wrapping isn't performed  at the point of creation. Wrapping is introduced by the particular txt reader that opens the file. I'm pointing Acrobat to Dropbox, are you saying that Dropbox sets the width, opens the file and passes the output to Acrobat?

You're right about plain text files, but Reader can't open such files. It can only open PDF files.

When converting a text file to PDF you have to specify a page size, because PDFs are composed of pages with a defined size, and a text size. The application creating the PDF decides what sizes to use (or it lets the user decide), but the result is final and Reader simply displays it.

I see. Thank you
