Hello Prabhakar,

I hope you are doing well. I understand you want to continue your markup work with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

You will be able to use markup tools with the application on the latest version.

Please refer to the link for more: Work with PDFs — Acrobat for iOS Help (adobe.com)

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks,

Souvik.

Hi Souvik,

Many thanks for your response.

I am using the Adobe Acrobat version- 22.1.20117.0 in windows desktop and I am able to use the markup functionality. But some our users are not able to use the markup functionality in their iPads.

  • Please let me now which version of Adobe Acrobat  (iOS users)will support the markup functionality?
  • Will the markup work if I access the pdf file in a web browser(i.e edge, Chrome, iexplorer, etc.)?
  • Does user need to login to Adobe Acrobat to use the markup feature?
  • Do we need to install any plug-in to use the markup feature in iPad?

@Prabhakar24966969cz69 Hi,

So, to use markups, you must have logged in to your Adobe account on the Acrobat Reader Mobile Application.

You do not need any plug-in, just the subscription for Acrobat is all you need to use the mark up features.

Once that is done, you can long-press on any particular area of the document and then you will get the option to add your comments or highlight or mark an area of the document.

If you are using Android device, you will get the same option from the three dots after opening the document under comment option.

Let me know if this helps.
