Hi all,

I have bought an Adobe Export PDF Abo from the Adobe Document Cloud for 24.13 €/Year ( Order ID ADD000580071DE ) but if I convert the PDF with Adobe Reader DC ( 15.023.20070 on Microsoft Windows 10 Pro ) or with the Web Service ( https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf  ) I get the Error:

File not processed

An error has occurred which terminated the processing of the PDF file.

I also tried to update to the newest Reader version with the Update Link under the Help Menu but it says: No Updates available

I need Help here. Any Ideas ?

Thank's a lot.

Cheers

Dirk

Does this happen for a particular file? Please try if you are able to convert other files successfully.

Meanwhile, can you please share the file with us which is causing the error?

You might place it at some public location and share the link of the file or send a personal message to me on 'posingha@adobe.com'

You might also insert the link of the file using the option

Poorvi

That's amazing ( Hold CTRL .. ). The Error is: "Non-hexadecimal characters in a hex string". What's that ?

Fine. You describe things with the same Words. I can not see any Hexadecimal Characters in the PDF Document so I have no idea what the PDF Reader want me to tell. Do you have an idea what that could be ? Are there Tools which can delight me and tell me what exactly is going on in the PDF File ?

I used Sphinx. Sphinx is a Python Documentation Tool programmed in Python. It has an Extension called rst2pdf which generates the PDF File for me. Seems that the rst2pdf Builder ( "Builder" is the Term from Sphinx for "Converter" ) creates invalid PDF Code. I already striped down the Documents to the minimal to exclude special Things like Images etc. but without any success. Thank you for your Help Bernd. I guess I have to continue to search for rst2pdf / Sphinx Issues regarding to the Hex-Error 117.
