Can't install Acrobat Reader DC on my NEW Mac OSX 14 because I get a message "found a higher version of Acrobat Reader in the installation location. Installation cancelled" I got app cleaner to get rid of any old version. Still won't load! HELP!

    Hi Phyllish,

Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps you followed. Have you used the cleaner tool to remove the application completely? If not, then you may use the cleaner tool given below-

Cleaner Tool: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and reinstall Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

If you have already tried this and it didn't help, then you may enable Root account and try installing the application in that. How to enable the root user on your Mac or change your root password - Apple Support

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
