can't print pdf using cmd and acrord32.exe

Dear All Acrobat Community Members:

 

      I'm trying to print PDF using CMD and acrord32.exe, and now I have a problem that I can't solve myself. Code is executing and Acrobat Reader is open, but no print job is generated. I can even see my PDF in the latest used file. "C\Program Files(x86)\Adob​​e\ Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /t "D:\Test.pdf" PrinterA reader version：2021.001.20138

 

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

 

We have released an update for Acrobat/Reader recently. Open Acrobat Reader>help>check for update and install the latest patch 21.001.20142

    I will try what you suggested. Here is some additional information.

1. The problem is for all the printers that connected to the same server, some of the printers work, but some do not. If I set the printers that do not work as the default printer, then using the [/P] command could print successfully.

2. If using the [/t] command, some printers could not print.

3. If I change the name of those printers that do not work to a new one, then using the [/t] command could occasionally make it work.

 

Below are the commands I used for printing.

[/t] command example:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /t D:\Temp\01.pdf PrintA

[/P] command example:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /s /n /o /h /p D:\Temp\01.pdf PrintA ”
