Can’t save pdf files in macOS 10.13.6

I frequently download pdf files from Safari and Mail and save them to my hard drive. Recently some but not all do not save or save as. All I get is a spinning circle on the save dialogue box. Share doesn’t work. I can save to Adobe document cloud. I can’t find any solutions.

    Correct answer Amal.

    Hi Derekm,

Apologies for the delay in response, I hope you would be able to fix it by now.

If the issue still persists, as described above you are experiencing issues while saving the files, correct?

What is the dot version of the application installed? To check the version of the application you may refer to the link  - Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Please try to update the application to the latest version available 19.012.20036. Go to Help > Check for Updates. To know more about the latest version available please refer to the link - DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Let us know if that works for you.

    Regards,

    Amal

    Thanks Amal,

Although my reader said it was up to date, I went to Abobe and downloaded a reader from there and that has fixed the problem.

    Best wishes, Derek
