I'm trying to download something on my computer that requires me to restart my computer. I can't restart my computer because adobe reader is open. It won't let me quit the application or delete. I cannot manually restart my computer because I get the same error message saying adobe is open and I can't quit it. I'm very frustrated!!!!!!

Thank you so much Jr Boulay, I had the same problem on a 2019 Macbook Pro and your suggestion helped me force quit of Adobe Acrobat Reader thus allowing me to shut down my laptop. Stay blessed.
