Cant open Canada visa form IMM 5257

The message shown is: "To view the full contents of this document, you need a later version of the PDF viewer", but already have Reader XI 11.0.07, please help me out.

Thanks for reply, already have it sorted out. Im using Chrome, wich has a

default PDF reader on it, had to enable Acrobat Reader through

chrome://plugins and works fine.

Hi,

I am facing the same issue while opening the Canada visa application form. I have a latest vergion of Adobe 10. Also tried it on Crome, IE and Edge but no us. Kindly help.

You will not be able to view this in Chrome, IE, or Edge. Instead you must download the form THEN open it in Reader.

defaultcboci15ifdkm, downloading Acrobat Reader is the start. Now you have to download the form to your Mac or Windows computer. Finally, you start Reader and use Open from  the File menu to read the file. Don't try to skip any of these steps, or double click anything, it won't work.

Download the form on your laptop and open it in Acrobat Reader.

If you have problems opening a PDF on our website, try the following:

For PC users
Find the link of the file you want to save (you may need to go back to the previous page to find it).
Right-click the link.
Select “Save target as” or “Save link as”.
Choose the location on your computer where you would like to save the file.
Select “Save”.
Use Windows Explorer to get to the location where you saved the file.
Right click on the PDF file.
Select “Open with”.
Select “Choose program”.
Select “Adobe Acrobat Reader”.
Make sure to check the box that says, “Always use this program to open these files”.
Select “OK”.

I need urgent hel please. I've been trying to open and fill in the required details of the IMM5257e form but I keep getting a prompt that the document has extended features which has changed since it was created and so, the use of extended features is no longer available. 

I need help to navigate around this please.

What's your version of Reader, exactly? You can find out under Help - About Adobe Reader.

Please, my version of adobe reader is Version XI.

I guess that version is only able to read but doesn't allow editable options.

I just downloaded the adobe acrobat reader DC and it worked.

The preview app doesn't know how to view such files, but if the data you filled in shows up when you open it in Reader then it should be fine.
