Cant Sign PDF

Hi, I am able to fill out a PDF but most times when I go to add the signature it come up with:

Very occasionally it let me add the signature, and this has been happening for a bout 3 months now

Today its not even letting me fill with text.

I only have problems on my PC - Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I have no problems doing either on my mac.

Yes this could be an issue, but we are unable to reproduce it at our end. It will be great if you could share a sample file when you are back so that we can debug it further.

Hi susedo,

Thanks for reporting this issue. In order to reproduce the issue in-house, we would want the following details :

1. Does this happen with every PDF or specific PDF? If possible can you please share a sample PDF file.

2. Are you able to add/save comments to the same PDF?

It happens with all PDF most of the time, very occasionally it allows me to do it

Sometimes I can put the signature in, but when I save it the signature disappears and it comes up with the same dialogue box and says it can’t save because it has encountered a problem.

Usually I can add text only and it saves fine, but the other day it wouldn’t even let me enter text

If I email the same PDF to myself and open it on my Mac it allows the signature fine and saves fine...its very odd

I am not able to send a PDF to you at the moment as I am out of town now but I will be back next weekend.

The fact that I have no problem with any of them on my Mac seems to imply its a PC issue??

Hi,

Are you referring to 'Fill and Sign' tool in Acrobat Reader or digital signatures here? Please clarify the steps. Also, try to check for updates from Help menu and see if it fixes the problem. Thanks.

Sorry, yes the ‘fill and sign’ i can select the signature image but once I put it where I want it, the error dialogue box comes up.

Ususally I can fill the PDF fine (without signature) 

Updates are all up to date
