Certain ebooks cannot be opened after I reinstalled the Windows, the screen shows as below, please help, thanks!

    We're sorry for the trouble you had, please download the font pack from the URL Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows : Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack (Continuous) : Thank You

    You can also download the Fonts pack from Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows

    Scroll down the page to the ADD-ONS> select the font pack > download. Restart the computer and see if the issue persists.

    If you still experience any issue, use Acrobat cleaner tool(only for Windows/Mac) Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

    Reboot the machine and install the latest version of Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

    If specific e-books/PDFs are not working, then it could be a file specific issue. You have to contact the author or the owner of the PDF.

      We're sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. Are you trying to view the PDF files/e-book on a browser or in Adobe Reader desktop application?

      Are you not able to view one specific e-book or all the books? What is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

      Are these e-books are in PDF formats? If you are not able to view PDFs on the web, please refer to the suggestions in the following Adobe article Troubleshoot viewing PDF files on the web

      What is the version of Windows installed?

      Hi Anand,

      I am trying to view the PDF files/e-book in Adobe Reader desktop application.

      Only certain e-books I cannot read.

      The version of Adobe Reader is: 2018.011.20055

      Yes, those e-books I cannot open are in PDF formats.

      Yes, I can view PDFs in my browser.
