Hi,

Making comments I found that I cannot change my current name in any way. In: Preferences (ctrl+K) -> Identity: Login Name, as it is locked. I've tried to change it by giving Profile Name in https://account.adobe.com/profile. But to no success. It still shows my first choice name which I would like to CHANGE. Who can help me?

You can't change the Login Name value. It's the name of the user you're logged in as on your machine.

What you can do, though, is change the setting that uses that value when creating comments.

To do that go to Menu - Preferences - Commenting and tick off the box next to "Always use Log-In Name for Author name".
Now right-click a comment you've created and select Properties. Go to the General tab and change the Author name. Make sure to also tick the box that says "Make Properties Default".
Click OK, and any new comment you create (from that type) from now on will have your name as the Author by default.

Hi @Pawe?_Karaszewski

Are you working on a local pdf or a shared file ?

For local files, try toggling off author name pref under Preferences(Ctrl+K) -> Commenting -> Always use Log-in name for Author name. Once done you can change the autor name from comment properties and then make properties default.

For shared files you can change author name from https://account.adobe.com/profile

Thanks,

Rohit A
