Thank you So much

 

I copied chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments into the address bar and it took me to the settings.  I changed the option from "Download PDF" to "Open PDF's in Chrome" and now the rpint function works

It seems to be a designed behavior as the Chrome settings are set to download PDFs. 

However, we will confirm with the team and update you about the same.

Meanwhile, we suggest changing the Chome settings for PDF from Download PDFs to Open PDFs in Chrome.

Yes, thank you, this is a work around but does not solve the strange question as to why this extension has a print button that does not work.
