Chrome keeps opening the organize page when opening pdf files locally

Question

Hello, when ever I double click on PDF file locally on my mac chrome opens this page.

https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/acrobat/organize-pdf

It's anoing, any ideas on how to stop it?

tried reinstalling acrobat but no luck so far.

Thanks for reporting this to us.

This issue has already been reported to the engineering team. We have got a registry fix for the Windows user. However, there hasn't been any Mac user who has reported the same.

Allow us some time to discuss it further and get a fix for Mac OS.
