While creating a Digital ID in Adobe Reader, clicking "Configure Digital ID" displays a black overlay but not a dialog box.

 

 

The article discusses an issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader where clicking "Configure Digital ID" does not open the expected dialogue box.

 

Environment: Windows 7, 10

 

If you encounter this issue, follow this step to resolve it:

Allowing Adobe Reader in the Avecto software solves the issue. After that, the dialog box is displayed as per the expectation.

 

It happens because Avecto Defendpoint (https://www.avecto.com/) blocks the dialog box.

 

Following these steps, you can resolve the issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader and open the expected dialogue box when configuring a Digital ID.
