    Hi Amclean,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query.

Could you confirm the exact version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC that you have been working on? Open the application >Click on Acrobat Reader DC>About Acrobat Reader DC.

Check of update, Acrobat Reader >Help>Check for update

Or refer to- Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

    Let us know the update.

    Dear Akanchha,

The version is Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

    Continuous release 2018.009.20050

I am now converting large PDFs to word and then reading them from MS word as the Reader is too slow.  Ie a few page down clicks take a long time and then goes too far etc.

If I can be of any further assistance please contact me.

    Yours sincerely,

    Adam McLean

    Hi Amclean,

I apologize for the delay in response to your last message.

As you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed and that is too on latest OS, so there shouldn't be any issue with the performance.

However, to troubleshoot the problem you can try resetting the application's preferences following the-

How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

If that doesn't help, then you can also check with uninstalling and reinstalling the application- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

    Regards,
