compatibility with macOS high sierra

New Here ,
Nov 13, 2017 Nov 13, 2017

Hi,

I am running macOS high sierra, I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015), and I am using Safari Version 11.0.1

I am looking for an alternative to apple's preview.app (as it has become unbearable slow and crashes when editing and reading large PDFs. I have a couple of questions.

1- is adobe acrobat reader DC fully compatible with macOS high sierra?

2- are they additional (equally compatible) features that I can download for free or purchase which would allow me to ..

      i) edit a webpage (making it PDF friendly) and then convert that webpage (on safari 11.01) to a PDF

      ii) more PDF editing tool which allows mac users to upload images (.jpegs) and extends PDF / image / table / highlighting / formatting capabilities?

like i said just looking for something that has as much functionality  as  the  preview.app did for mac (more would be great!), and something that is fast and can handle large PDF files and support heavy annotations and mark-ups.

let me know!

thanks!!
