This is what I get, the backgroud image changes and the name in the lower-left corner too, but I can't read the pdf that I try to, because of those continuous pop-ups. Any solution besides ditching Acrobat reader?

Hi @Sorin5EE8

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is freezing.

Try these steps:

If this doesn't work please confirm a few things:

1. OS name and version?

2. does the window show while opening a PDF or when opening the app only?

3. please share a screenshot in which the complete application window is visible.

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Harsh

LATEST

- Removed Acroread64.

- installed Acroread32, it works!

- a couple of hours later, I got the same issue + "You have been upgraded to the 64 bit of Acrobat Reader" notification. NO, I WANT A WORKING Acroread PLEASE! If 32bit works, I want 32 bit, stop playing smart, it's not good! I just cancelled my Acroread Pro subscription because it's NOT WORKING!

- behind the annoing window, I can see the document I open, I just can't see all, because of the (probably, I guess it's the) "sign-in" pop-up.
