Copy and Paste Image in place on multiple pages of a document using Acrobat

Hi All,
I have a white bar image I need to copy about 150 times down the side of every odd page in my PDF. About 12 months ago, doing this with Acrobat was very easy - just insert the image, place it where I needed it, then control c to copy and move to the next page and control v to paste - and the white bar image would appear in the place I need it to be.
Now however when I try this the control v paste step puts the white bar image in the centre of the page.
Is there a way to copy an image and paste it in place on another page?
Any guidance appreciated!

First of all, you posted in the Reader forum, not the Acrobat one...
Yes, this is possible, if you use an image field. Just place it on the first page, select the image and other display settings and then right-click the field (in Prepare Form mode) and select Duplicate Across Pages. It will create identical copies of the field on all the pages you select, exactly in the same location as the original.

For anyone who is running into the problem of trying to put an image into a pdf, and then copying it to another page, where the copied image gets smaller in size and gets placed into the middle of the page/screen, there is a workaround. Go to Edit>>Preferences. Under Security (Enchanced), uncheck Enhanced Security, uncheck Enable Protected Mode at Startup, and uncheck Protected View. Close and re-open the program.
