I downloaded this website with the purpose of creating an e signature to use on my word documents. I do not see anyplace within this website that is intended to create a signature. Also I attempted to download and sign a document & it was signed with the word signature and the recipient's email address. Luckily I sent it to a friend and not the actual intended recipient. Please help!

I'm not sure what you are saying here? Downloaded a website? What does a signature that you would use on Word documents have to do with Adobe Reader?

When I googled how to create an e-signature for word documents, adobe reader came up. I downloaded adobe reader with the intention of creating an electronic signature that I can use for my word documents. Is that clearer? I'm guessing from your confusion that this is not possible on adobe reader.

Reader is a FREE program that does not create anything... it reads, and will apply a signature that you have created with a paid program
I don't create or use PDF signatures, but I am going to GUESS that Acrobat Pro will do this, so you need to ask in that forum, or maybe a "sign" forum to find out what people use

Adobe Reader works with something called PDF. It has nothing to do with editing or signing Wird documents. So Google has led you astray.
