Cursor got frozen when downloading Adobe Reader XI

When I try to download Adobe Reader 11.0 version my curser freezes at the second stop of downloading so it will not initialize. I cannot click on run or save or anything as my cursor is frozen.  What is causing this?

    Try downloading Reader XI from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution  (choose operating system, language, and version accordingly) ,

    Could you please let me know the Operating System installed on the machine- Windows/Mac?
