We installed Acrobat Reader 32bit, but it looks like some of our PC's have auto updated to the 64bit version which has caused an issue with our default apps as well as default printing. We use a GPO to set app defaults, but those that have updated to the 64 bit version is defaulting PDF's to Chrome instead of Adobe. Also, I exported the default app XML using DISM on a machine that was updated to 64bit (and default for PDF set to Adobe) and the XML file shows no default for PDF's. Is there a way to stop Adobe from auto updating to 64 bit without having to edit the registry?

Hi @CAROLE0101
Right now the only way is using changes in registry. You can set the below registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown]
"bUpdateToSingleApp" Dword32 and set this to 0. Setting this will ensure that only upgrade to 64 bit is disabled.
Can we get some more information regarding the same :
