DejaVu Sans font

Though DejaVu Sans font is supposed to be part of the options in Adobe Acrobat, it is not. How can I add it so that I can correctly edit a form?

it should be easy, the way we install font to be able to see and use them in respective apps. Mac and Windows have different ways to install. Thanks.
