DELETE READER COMPLETELY

Itried to delete acrobat reader in the usual manner and sending the program into the garbage bin. I downloaded reader XI again and each time I try to install it the system tells me that there is a newer version already in the installation location. And the process is terminated.

How can I eliminate this problem?

Hi héctorrnolnar,

Once you trash the Reader DC setup, you may clean up the trash and delete the preference mentioned on this thread: How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

Then restart the machine once and try again.
