Hello,
I'm currently embedding an iframe in a website with the following url.
https://docs.google.com/viewerng/viewer?url=urltopdffile.pdf
I'm passing in the pdf url to the viewer as a variable.
Googles viewer doesn't have the overprint preview feature that is required. Currently, you'd have to download the pdf file, open in adobe and turn on overprint preview which defeats the purpose of displaying the file online.
Does Adobe have an online viewer where a url could be passed into the adobe viewer?
Is there any other online viewer that can do this, that has overprint preview enabled or is this feature specific to adobe?
No, Adobe doesn't have an online PDF viewer. It has Adobe Reader, which is a desktop application with some browser plugins.
Basically, there's no such thing as an "online PDF viewer". You're either not viewing the actual PDF, but a different format which can be viewed online to which it was converted, or you're viewing a (temporary) file from your local computer, even if it looks like it's located "online".

This is why products like Kodak Insite are a must, for print production proofing.
You must work with people that understand what overprint means, and how to set up Acrobat to show this, but only outside of the Internet. You have to download and view in Acrobat.
Why can't Acrobat provide a push WYSIWYG setting for print production proofing ?

You replied to a thread from five years ago about an online PDF viewer, and things have changed. Adobe Acrobat Online is now available.
Because there is a new answer to this question, I have locked this thread.
Your post does not appear to be asking about an online viewer for PDFs. Adobe products including Acrobat handle overprint quite well, so it's not clear what you are asking.
Please start a new thread and clarify your issue so we can better assist. Alternatively, if your post is a feature request or bug report, please post to User Voice where it will be seen by the product developers.
