Greetings,

Could someone please tell me if I can download an earlier version of Reader and retain my current version (Reader DC) ?

I'm trying to open a program on a DVD published 2003, on my new Windows 10 system.  It wants to install Reader 5 or later.

I have tried opening it from Drive D. and from within Reader DC which it doesn't seem to recognize.

Thank you.

    Hi Iane,

Adobe Reader doesn't allow you to keep it in two version. What you are looking for, can not be achieve, because two versions of same application are not supported.

Also, Reader 5 is not even available anymore. Its has been disconnected a long time back. Adobe doesn't recommend to use the older versions. Reader 5 must be the basic requirement, so it should work with Reader DC.

What type of program you are trying to open, is it a simple PDF?

    Regards,
