I've seen this question posted before, but have yet to find a solution. When I click a drop down menu, it appears, then disappears quickly. I have to then click it again, and it expands much larger than it should. The need to double-click is driving me crazy. I've tried repairing the installation of Adobe Reader, and even removed the program and re-installed. Any help regarding this issue would be appreciated. I've attached a sample PDF for reference. Thanks in advance.

Hope you are doing well.
Have you tried the latest version of Acrobat (2025.001.205xx)? If so, please let us know if it works.
We could not reproduce the issue on the latest version of the application.
Let us know how it goes for you.
Regards,
Souvik.

I have just started to get this phenomenon on a previously created form that has been working great for 6 months.
I have noticed that the dropdown needs to be selected first, then the dropdown will work correctly, this could be why it is disappearing initially, then works on the second click. it should also be noted that if you select the dropdown with the first click, the box will start to highlight itself if you subsequently hover over it again. I dont ever remember that happening before.
Im really hoping for a resolution to this soon.

Can we get an update on this? I am on version 25.001.20756 (Windows 11) and this behavior is really annoying. Thank you!

Hello @ato27938668477e
I hope you are doing well, and thank you for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble.
If you are still experiencing the issue with the latest build of Acrobat Reader (25.001.20756, Planned update, Oct 01, 2025), could you please collect the latest logs from the affected machine, a quick screen recording of the issue, and the OS details, and share them with us? To collect the logs, download and run the Log Collector tool. Ensure that you select all log options and attempt to reproduce the issue. After that, close the Log Collector tool; it will generate the logs along with a log ID. Please share this log ID with us for further investigation.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
