Drucken tatsächliche Größe

New Here ,
Dec 07, 2022 Dec 07, 2022

Hallo,

Vielen Dank.

I am sure you have checked these already. Just to make sure:

  • the design is on a page that has exactly the same size as the paper you print on?
  • can you share what happens if you print at a custom size of 100%
  • can you indicate if margins impact the result, can you try a different printer? especially checking the difference between a laser and inkject printers.

Hallo,

Hallo Yvonne,

Hello @ute_4507!

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

Based on what you've described, it’s clear that:

  • The issue is not with the printer hardware (since your husband’s computer prints correctly to the same Kyocera).

  • You’ve already ruled out software re-installation, driver updates, and general PC health. Your troubleshooting steps have been great so far.

Check Print Scaling Settings Again
Even if you've already done this, double-check that:

    • “Actual size” is selected in the print dialog.
    • “Fit” or “Shrink oversized pages” is not selected.
    • Page scaling is set to None.

Try Printing the Same File from the Browser or Edge (as a Test)

Just to confirm if it’s a Reader-only issue:

  • Open the PDF in Microsoft Edge or Chrome and print with “Actual Size” or 100%.

  • If it prints correctly, it points to a rendering/scaling issue within Reader on your machine.

Ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat Reader installed. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > Help> Check for Updates. Install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

Check for System DPI or Scaling Settings
On Windows:

    • Go to Settings > Display > Scale and layout.
    • Ensure scaling is set to 100%.
    • Higher DPI settings can sometimes affect print rendering.

Print as Image
In the print dialog:

    • Click Advanced.
    • Check Print as Image.
    • This can bypass rendering issues caused by vector scaling.
  • Ensure you have the latest printer driver and firmware installed.

If the issue persists, let us know your Adobe Reader version, Windows version, PDF source (was it created in Word, InDesign, etc.), and the sample file. Also, check the version of the printer driver installed. If the checkbox is part of a form, also check if the PDF has any interactive elements or embedded print instructions. Collect the logs from the machine and share them with us for further investigation. Collect the print logs as well, and share them with us.

To collect the logs, download and run the Log Collector tool. Make sure to select all log options and attempt to reproduce the issue. After that, close the Log Collector tool; it will generate the logs along with a log ID. Please share this log ID with us.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
