Editing an attached pdf directly on Outlook

New Here ,
Jul 10, 2023 Jul 10, 2023

Trying to edit an attached pdf on Outlook and emailing it without having to save a copy to my computer.

Not having much luck as it constantly takes me to a 'save as' screen no matter what I try.

Is there a way around this? I'm not experiencing any problems editing attached word or excel documents this way.

Thanks!

Hi @André Johanne31001825anvm

Sorry for the delay in response.

Editing a PDF from an attachment is not possible, you can only have a preview. You have to save the file locally and open it in Acrobat Reader.

Also, Reader is freeware; it would not let you edit the file like other apps, Word or Excel. After saving it to the computer, you can only add comments. Edit is a paid tool that comes with an Acrobat Pro subscription.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Akanchha
