How are you trying to email the pdf? What exact steps? What version of Reader? What OS? What email provider?

in adobe reader..version 15.023.20070 open pdf file click on envelope icon ,then click on attach to email..nothing happens.

Windows 10 installed..email provider..microsoft outlook.

Ok. One other thing to try would be to go to Edit>Preferences>Security (enhanced)>Sandbox protections and turn off "Enable protected mode at startup".
