As I understand from the description above, you are getting an error message that there was a problem reading this PDf document, Is that correct?

Please check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from Help menu>Check for updates. You may also try to repair the installation files of Reader from Help menu>Repair installation(only for Windows).

After the update installation and repair, reboot the machine and try opening documents.

If the issue persists, please share the following details:

• Is it a Mac or Windows machine?
• Dot version of Adobe Reader DC installed, to identify refer to Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
