Each time I print from the reader it prints but I get the message "plug-in failure".  Anyone know what is causing this issue?

Question has not been answered.

Hi Jim.GA,

Please try "Repair Installation" under Help menu in application.

Do you get this error only when you print PDF from application?

Can you share the screenshot of the message you get?

Regards,

Meenakshi

Thanks for replying. I checked the help menu but didn’t find “repair installation”. Here is a screen shot of what I am seeing.

Yes, the only time I see the message is after I’ve selected “Print” the “Plug-in Failure” message comes on screen but the print

still continues and prints whatever I’ve asked for.

Thanks

Jim

Hi Jim.GA,

There is no screenshot attached in the above message. Take help from this link: https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot  to attach the screenshot.

Could you please confirm the dot version of Adobe application you are using. Open application and navigate to Help menu > About Adobe (Application name).

Are you on Mac or Windows? What is the OS version?

Regards,

Meenakshi

The issue still persists for me.  I checked for updates on the Adobe Acrobat Reader, and it said it was all updated.  I still get the blank page with "plug in failure", though then the print does continue just as the original poster described.

I am on MAC OS SIerra

Version 10.12.3

Adobe Reader version 2015.023.20056

this started when I got a new hard drive.
