Fill & Sign - can not longer highlight text

Good afternoon;

I upgraded my Adobe Reader install and now I cannot highlight text when using "Fill & Sign".  I used to be able to add text to a Fill & Sign box and highlight that text.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

 

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different file and check.

 

What happens when you try to highlight the text? Do you get any error message, If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for more clarity.

 

Also, make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20615 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Note
: the steps are same for Acrobat Reader

Actually it is not with a specific file.  The vendor of the application states that there is an issue going on between the current version of adobe reader and there application and that we need to roll back to version 23.008.20555 64 bit in order to resolve while they work with adobe to resolve the issue currently going on between there app and adobe reader

In the Creative Cloud application, there is no option to install the older version of Acrobat. The choice is available for other products, though.

You may refer to the following help page to download the installer for the older version: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html.
