Downloaded a federal IRS form and clicked on Fill & Sign. Unable to enter any text in allowable fields. Bar just above the pdf document says "Fill & Sign" however there is no fill and sign toolbar icons - only the signature icon. I can't make any entries in the document. I have version 2020.012.20043 running on MacOS 10.15.6

Hi there

We are sorry for the trouble. As described there is no fill and sign toolbar icons

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. if its a file specific issue please share the file with us so that we can check it at our end.

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the issue for a better understanding?

Also, please check if the filling of the form fields is allowed or not. Open the PDF > Go to files > Properties > Under the security tab, check the document restriction summary and check if filling of the PDF form is allowed or not.

We are here for help, just need more information.

Regards

Amal

As you can see from the screen shot, the fillable fields are available (light blue blocks). When you place the cursor in the field, it is highlighted, but nothing happens when you type anything on the keyboard. The same occurs with other pdf files, not just this one. Also, I check the security properties, and filling is allowed.

An additional screen shot that shows the result of clicking in one of the fillable fields.
