Fill and sign tool font changes after typing special symbol

New Here ,
Jul 06, 2023 Jul 06, 2023

Hello,

I found an issue when using Adobe Acrobat Reader when using Polish keyboard and fill and sign tool. Until I type standard characters, font seems to be Arial or similar, but when I type special character like Ś, Ł, Ę which are typical to Polish alphabet, then font changes to something like Times New Roman. Please see attachment for better understanding. Is there any way to fix it? I dont care about font type but it would be great and professional to have just one font type in filled document 🙂 Fill&Sign_font_issue.PNG

It looks like the font that has been selected to fill that data in is not a font having those special characters. Where is that document from? When has it been created (Ctrl/CMD D: Properties→Description)? Eventually, also what application has created the document.

Hello, thanks for your answer.
Problem occurs in every document. Application which I use is: Adobe Acrobat Reader, continuous release version 2023.003.20244, 64-bit.

I would guess that this is indeed related to the PDF creation. If I find 5 minutes tomorrow, I will do a check. But maybe, meanwhile, someone can come up with an explanation. 😉

I have a similar situation with the Russian language.
Attached a video recording of the screen.
