I have an issue where all Fill & Sign Tools grayed out when they should not be. There is little security restrictions on the document however if I close Adobe Reader and open the file again the Fill and Sign Tools are no longer greyed out.
My repeated history of this issue.
We use SharePoint to load documents for signature. I go to SharePoint to see the items I need to review, code as Approved (or not) and if approved Sign and date the document. Yes it seems silly to add text for the Date but that what my company wants so it will be done. Yesterday I processed 82 documents and intermittently Adobe with Grey out the Fill & Sign Tools. Not that it needed to mind you it just does it. There are no restrictions on the documents when it occurs. I just need to close Adobe Reader ( Also occurs in Adobe XI Pro) then reopen the document and everything is fine. Yes same document opens fine allowing Fill and Sign. Maybe Adobe Reader and Pro get overworked and somewhere is all the lines of code and unanswerable code gets triggered that causes the Software to bring up the Document with the Fill & Sign Tools grayed out.
